Vision Jules and Jeremy like to work with simple shapes (less is more). Their aim is to find a balanced combination of simplicity and functionality. They like to play with contrast, structure and art. Looking at what the trends are is not important, but designing furniture that has a timeless look and feel is what makes a design special.
Background Jules and Jeremy is an joint venture between Jules Ponsioen and Jeremy Nagel. Both friends since childhood. Surrounded by creative families and friends their developed their creativity at young age. Jeremy started restoring oldtime motorcycles and making furniture for friends and family. Jules became an graphic designer and after years of making furniture and brainstorming about designing, they decided to start their own company to show their ideas of furniture design. This Jules & Jeremy Furniture Design table differs from the idea that tables should consist of a top and underneath the legs. With this design we made the top and the legs become one through elegant curves and graceful lines, without compromising simplicity and symmetry. This design shows contrast between straight lines and curves and contrast between the high gloss lacquer and oiled natural wood. The addition of black or white lacquered the table is ‘lifted’ off the floor. This model seamlessly combines with floors off the other kinds of wood.

This design cupboard is is made of four units. You are able to choose how many units you would like in any size you prefer. The bottom of each unit is finished with a small aluminum strip. The cupboard is made of medite MDF with a thickness of 38 mm, finished with two component sprayed laquer. It is possible to spraypaint the the inside and outside in any colour. It is also possible to veneer the inside. There are many possibilities.

This Hoi Magazine chair is a design made for an advertisement campaign by Jules and Jeremy. More than 30 highly respected people from the Dutch press and advertisement world have been photographed in this chair for the campaign. The advertisements have been printed in marketing and ad magazines. The HOI chair is made of quality MDF finished with mat white lacquer. The seat is made of durable imitation leather and the magazines are laying on hardened glass.
